This space is dedicated to the study and analysis of the "OODA Loop" concept and similar ideas such as the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" concept in business.
It strikes me that one reason I find face to face conversations frustrating is that I have a long decision cycle in a discussion and many others have a short one. This leads to other people dominating the conversation, constantly bringing up new ideas and information, while I'm still trying to absorb earlier comments and decide how I want to reply.
The intentional usage of this to disorient others must be what they call "Fast Talk".
It seems to me that the SECOND nuclear bomb dropped on Japan in WWII was important because it broke into the Japanese OODA loop, making them panic, while the first bomb might not have done that.
